FUNDING
From where do we get our funding?
The funding for Lupus Support Network comes from many different sources. Much of what we receive is restricted to a particular program. As a 501c3 corporation, all donations to Lupus Support Network are tax deductible.

Memberships
Our Board of Directors have continually voted to keep our membership fees at a minimum believing that by doing so it allows more lupus patients to become members. Our membership fees are the smallest portion of the income we receive in any given year.
Grants
The Lupus Support Network continually applies for grants to fund various programs. Most grants come from major corporations and/or private foundations. These funds are used for specific programs and do not become a part of the general operating fund. This is one of the major sources of funding for Lupus Support Network.
Memorials and Gifts
The Lupus Support Network is often the recipient of funds sent in memory of loved ones. All receipts received as memorials are acknowledged as such. On occasion Lupus Support Network is also the recipient of monetary gifts sent to assist in funding the various programs of Lupus Support Network.
