The Consequence of Caffeine on Your Health
Caffeine is a drug with powerful effects fast and accurate on the central nervous system, peripheral nervous system and gut. It is used by many prescription and sale of prescription pills. You need to take more and more experience at the same effects. If coffee and tea have been discovered today, probably the FDA will not made public.
Caffeine stimulates the release of fatty acids in the blood. With more fatty acids available, the muscles need less glucose. A few years ago it was quite popular for marathoners to take a lot of caffeine before a marathon, hoping that the additional fatty acids would provide additional fuel, but their limited supply of glycogen. Caffeine seems to help first, but it seemed to exacerbate long-distance running other problems. A draw back is that caffeine is a diuretic and promotes loss of body water.
Another problem with caffeine for endurance is that it can compete with insulin. Many riders go on diets high in carbohydrates and eating plenty of food and sweetened drinks to maintain muscle glycogen. The resul is blood sugar keeps blood levels of insulin levels, which inhibits the release of fatty acids from fat cells. Caffeine stimulates the release of fatty acids, insulin and inhibits.
The riders are faced with a choice to decide whether to increase rates of fatty acids by drinking coffee or glycogen levels increased by having some donuts that rich in carbohydrates. Caffeine also contributes to the tension and nervousness, just before a race. It can also cause IBS. This combination may be detrimental to the career of a rider.
